WaiterPAD

The WaiterPAD solution is an advanced restaurant POS system that has been successfully deployed in 17 countries. The system uses both software and radio frequency (RF) technology to enable staff to wirelessly take and send orders, access menu information such as tasting notes and ingredients and update back office inventory in real time. This saves time, both for the venue and for the customer, which in turn increases efficiency and enhances profitability. Customers have experienced in excess of 10% improvement to the bottom line, annually, and a return on investment in 6 to 12 months.

Why does WaiterPAD work so effectively?

High powered microwaves, stainless steel areas, mobile phones and wireless laptops are all a part of a typical hospitality environment. TriniTEQ has found that these factors may interfere with handheld ordering systems that use standard wireless technology. With this in mind, TriniTEQ has developed proprietary technology that enables WaiterPAD to use radio frequency (RF). This ensures no dropouts from interference with other wireless devices, longer battery life and therefore greater reliability. It also allows WaiterPAD handhelds to cover greater distances and transmit through solid objects. Standard wireless solutions do not function when there is no connection with the network, for example, where there is a black spot area or the handheld is out of range. WaiterPAD handhelds can still be used and orders can be taken when out of range. The order is stored on the WaiterPAD and is simply transmitted by the user when back in range.

TriniTEQ's hand held ordering solution, WaiterPAD and WaiterPOS have been designed to work together to give your business a complete POS system. WaiterPOS displays a table plan where wait staff assigns a customer to a table. The customers orders are taken using the WaiterPAD, prompting the wait staff throughout the order. The wait staff confirm that the order is correct and then transmit it to the appropriate printer. At the same time the customer’s bill is updated on WaiterPOS.

Additional items such as desserts and coffees can be ordered at a later time. Again WaiterPAD updates WaiterPOS each time additional items are ordered by the customer, ensuring that the customer’s bill is always up to date. When the customer has finished their meal the wait staff request the bill to be printed from the WaiterPAD. The reciept is then printed at the receipt printer via the WaiterPOS touchscreen terminal. The receipt is then given to the customer for payment.

QuickPOS

QuickPOS is designed to suit fast paced kiosks, juice bars, coffee shops and small businesses. It improves speed of service, reduces staff errors, increases security and allows for multi-location and franchise management as your business grows.

In addition to a standalone QuickPOS touchscreen system, TriniTEQ can offer a perfect solution to the logistics of operating a busy venue that has long queues. WaiterPAD and QuickPOS have been designed to work together to give your business a complete POS solution. Staff are able to walk down the queue with the WaiterPAD and take orders. By the time the customer reaches the counter they can pay and collect their order. This will mean more customers will move through the queue, increasing turn over and decreasing customer frustration.

For bar and gaming venues QuickPOS and WaiterPAD can reduce queues by allowing the customers to remain in their seat while they order their drinks. This will reduce frustration at the bar and increase revenue by serving customers quickly and efficiently.
